I have 2 golden algae eaters, and 6 cory's in my 55 gallon and was wondering how much I should be feeding them. Right now I'm breaking up a Hikari algae wafer into 4 pieces then dropping them into the tank before I go to bed. Do you think this is adequate, should I be putting in more, less? Thanks.

If you're just trying to get them fed, I think that sounds like you're feeding them enough :) You may want to break up the wafers into more than 4 pieces, just so you have a better chance of everyone getting a bite to eat (they should be, since if you feed flakes too, they'll get those as well).

I've found Cories (never kept Algae Eaters before) to also really like boiled zucchini and frozen foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp, etc). You'll be fine with wafers as their basic diet, but a little variety wouldn't hurt either. ;)
