Feeding

Quick question. I have damsles and i am/was feeding them flake food. Today i installed a wet dry filter with an overflow. anyone have any advice on how to keep flake food from being sucked into the overflow before the fish can eat it =/. Thanks

put some plastic mesh over the overflow grates will keep it in the tank for a little while longer

Use your hand and swish the flake in the water...it slowly sinks this way.

And after a while you get to hand feed too...!

Better pumps , wavemaker setups have feeding timers attached - when I want to feed I hit a button and my main pumps stop for 5 minutes.
