Feelers?

I just got the last two Powder Blue Gouramies from my LFS. One has both of it's "Feelers", but the other one doesn't have any. All he has is little stubs. Would he be fine with out them? He seems to be doing fine in my tank right now.

He should be fine without his feelers; I don't believe they have a purpose that would cause him to die. They should grow back.

You might want to add a little bit of Melafix into the water if you have it. When ever my fish get hurt I use this and it keeps infection at bay.

It good that there isn't really a use for them, ohter then making the fish more cute then it already is.

the only time i saw mine use theres is when another fish would swim into their chosen corner they would kinda poke it with its feeler, kinda like a friendly get outa here. Other than that I dont know what they are for.
