I recently added a second male dwarf gourami to my 20 gallon.  The other occupants are a school of corys.  Within a day the original male dwarf in the tank couldn't eat or leave the corner of the tank, as the new dwarf, who is considerably smaller, is a real bully.  As a result, I have separated them by putting the new dwarf into a new tank.  The original guy hasn't recovered yet though.  What should I do?  Is there a possibility they could get along or should I just drop the idea?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Don't have any direct experience, but I've read that they only do ok with other males if they each have their own territory...

On a related note, I have a male and female dwarf gourami, added them to my 29 gallon at the same time, 2 wks ago... and they fight all the time.  Does anyone think that they'll calm down (maybe even mate :)) or do they just hate each other and they'll never get along...?
