Filter Question

Ok - I was in the pet store looking for a filter for my 44g and the lady recomended the Whisper 2 Power Filter. It said it was for 10-40g aquariums and she said since I'm doing a planted tank, that will be fine as long as I don't overstock it. I went ahead and bought it. What do you guys think?

It might be adequate, but you have to remember that companies like to over rate their filters. I would personally add another filter in combination to the one you already have, an Aquaclear 150 or 200 would be a good adition or another Whisper filter*celebrate

I'm hoping to get by with just the one filter since A) It's right next to my bed and B) I didn't want to modify the cover on the tank. I might go through the nitrogen cycle and see how things go and then purchase another if needed.
