My new 43 gal is cycled now and im waiting for t5 lights before i get all my plants.
When i brought my tank 2nd hand from ebay it came with 2x Eheim classic 2213 filters. The person said he was keeping oscars and that why he needed the filters.
I am currently using one of the filters and they have identical medium in both canisters. I have taken one apart to ask you whats in the black bag and what is the rock type ?
I know the white fluff is filter floss. But if the stuff in the black bag is carbon, will i need to take it out for when my plants arrive and what would i replace it with ?
