I have a 20 gallon high. It's lightly planted with some guppies, ghost shrimp and corys. I replaced my Top Fin 30 filter with a Marineland Penguin 200 Bio-Wheel filter.

I just don't want to stress my fish. The water looks much better, my old filter just seemed not to flow very well and would not restart after a power outage.

Thanks for your help.

I have 2, 200's on my 20, a 350 in my 30 and 2, 350's in my 55. I'd say ur doing just fine. and the 2, 200's is needed cause my 20 is highly overstocked with the babies. I have all my babies spread out in 2 tanks but still way over stocked.

I have a penguin 125 and a Topfin 30 on my 18 high. I figure more filtration the better unless it generates too much current that the fish are battling it constantly.

Thanks for your help. I like the 200 better because I could add extra media if needed. Which worked out well, so I could take the filter pad out of the old filter and put it in the 200 to transfer the bacteria.
