Is a Aquetic Garden all purpose filter a good filter its mech, chem , and bio

That's an UGF (under gravel filter), right? If so, there are mixed reviews about UGF's. I've had them in the past when I first got started and found them to be a pain.

I haven't heard of that one specifically...if it is a UGF I would suggest getting a power filter. A power filter for your 29G would probably run about 30 dollars, give or take depending on brand and type...but trust me, in the long run you will be glad you didn't get the UGF. I figured they were cheap and easy, that I could just upgrade later...nope didn't work that way. To reiterate what fred said they're a pain.

lol just a little off eh when it comes to pwer filters i always recommend acquaclears...cheap to maintain cuz u dont need new catridges jsut rinse the sponge, durable, and very quiet
