Whats the best filter for a 25 gallon? I already used a penguin it leaks and a cascade ....Want to try a whisper brand!!Any help from you pros would be great..Happy Thanksgiving too

A lot of people really like Aquaclears on this site.

I like Penguins, and haven't had a problem with them leaking. It's always a good idea to complain to the manufacturer, they sometimes send a new one to you.

I also really like the Eheim Liberty filters. They're incredibly quiet and seem well designed, and are no more expensive than the other brands of HOB filter.

Lotus is right, I do LOVE my aquaclear but I guess it is just personal preference. I myself like that the filter just keeps on going never changing, breaking or requiring more than a monthly cleaning...just a solid performer...
