Fin Pinching

I have 3 Black Tipped Tetras in a 10g tank and one of them is swimming and biting the fins off the other two...none have died but they have to hide in corners and things like that...any suggestions..

If you don't have at least half a dozen or so tetras of the same kind (a school) there will usually be aggression of that sort. With a larger number the aggression is spread out more evenly.
I don't know if you have room for more of them in your ten gallon tank, though. I'm not familiar with their size.

I have 5 red serpea tetras, at first they all nipped at each other, but now they seem to be alittle better towards each other. They still chase each other around and have to hide, but their fins aren't nipped off anymore. For awhile it was pretty bad. I thought I would have to seperate them.
