Finally, a fish my mom likes...

Well, besides my Zebs, my mom isn't too keen on my fish. She kind of likes them, but doesn't get any excitement over their little antics.

So far, she's only liked the Zebs since she thinks they're pretty and she likes things with animal patterns (zebra, leopard, tiger, etc...) on them. In fact, she likes most of my Plecos for that reason, minus the BN, which she's terrified of.

But today, I was having quite a good time watching one of my Clown Loach sleeping in a PVC tube. He'd kind of waiver back and forth and then all of sudden fall really fast to one side. Then I'd accidently spook him, he'd spring up, and do it again. Great entertainment. *laughingc

So I pulled my mom in and showed her my "fish that can play dead". After that, she was in my room for at least ten minutes squealing as my little Loach tried to get some rest. It was great! I'm just glad I found something in my world of fish that she enjoys

That's very cute! My former goldfish (may he have sweet dreams in his eternal slumber) use to play dead too. Anyway, I'm glad your mother can futher appreciate the silly fish of the world.

LOL!! I love 'em just dont have a place for them!!! Glad to here your mom has found amusement with your fish. When you say terrified of your Bristlenose you mean she doesnt like them or...???

I mean, she keeps asking me if I can trim the bristles off its nose.... and I keep having to explain to her that the bristles are attached...
I think the whole idea of anything with a forest of random growths on its head scares her.

I guess you should be glad she lets you keep them if they freak her out that much! For some reason, certain animals freak out certain people (like people who are scared of spiders, bees, snakes, etc.).

I hate spiders... I have no problem admitting that. And I have no clue why they freak me out so much!
