Just click on the thumbs for full picture.
Any suggestions welcome.

Here's our tank...it's built into our livingroom wall.

This is our "zebra" or "kenyi" not too sure, the pet store says zebra...my friend says kenyi. What do you think?

One of 2 "yellow labs"

Another "zebra"

The bigger of 2 "OB" Peacocks

I just think this is a cool photo...

Not the best picture, but look at this Peacocks tail fins!

Thanks
The fluval 4 came with the tank, it was in the house when we bought it.
We just added a 2nd fluval 4+ yesterday....I bought it on EBay for like $20.
If you look at the tank picture you can see the new one on the left, and the old one on the right.

Does your cat love to watch the fishies, too? Mine will sit and purr at them (although one will occasionally swat at the tank)

Nice tank! It would be so cool if my next house has a tank already installed!

How did you get your shots so clear? Is it just luck of the draw or is there something special to do on the camera? Mine usually come out blurry. Occassionally I will get a clear one.

Well I took about 60 to get those few good ones. But there is a specific setting on my camera that makes it much easier to get fish pictures. It's actually a setting for flowers.
All these were taken with the flash on, and this setting on...I've been trying to get good picutres for almost a month, so it was kind of lucky to figure this out.
Not only that, but the angle is a big thing too so that you don't get a reflection or glare from the flash.
What makes it really hard on my tank is it's a see through tank...so the lighting behind it is important too...

My suggestion to you would be to just keep trying different things...what camera do you have? If it's digital you should be all set to try a bunch of things, then just erase them.

It's funny you ask that.

We've only been in the house for 6 weeks or so, and the cats never noticed the fish untill about a week or 2 ago.
Since then it's been great to watch both the cats, and the fish.
Our couch is about 3 or 4 feet away from the tank in the livingroom, and my wife watched the Siamese jump from the couch directly into the tank...lol she obviously didn't realize it was glass.
Also we have been holding the cats up to the tank, and the fish respond to them being there. They will follow that cats if we move them around the tank.
Great combo of pets....I just can't wait for my fish to grow.

yep it did....there were 4 guarami, and a loach in the tank.
We had to get rid of the guarami when they had a few hundred fry.
The pet store was glad to take them.

The loach died when I took it out of the tank, and it jumped out of the tank it was in for 10 minutes.

So that's when I started researching fish, and decided on the cichlids. At first I really wanted an Oscar, or Dempsy...but quickly learned I'd only be able to have one in my 55 gallon.
