Finally!

So after almost a month of having an empty but fully cycled 16 gallon (kept adding ammonia) I have finally gotten some fish. I got 6 neon tetra's. So Yay!!

Question:
The AqAdvisor recommends that I increase my filtration (calculated by the all fish I plan to get). Currently I have a Aqueon Quietflow 20, does anyone have any suggestions on filters? I would like one that is quite because the tank is in my room.

a simple sponge powerhead will do... or add an AC20, thats relatively quiet.

Is the sponge powerhead something I could combine with my current filter?
Also is there a brand you of powerhead you would recommend?

yes the aqua clear filters are great, and they aren't noisy as long as you keep your water topped up. If the level of the tank gets a bit low there might be sound coming from the water falling.

Congrats on getting fish! I would also recommend an AquaClear 20. I used to use an Aqueon, however, I read all about the AquaClear filters and decided to purchase the 20 (I also had several recommendations from people on here). It's very quiet so long as you keep the water level up as sushi mentioned.
