I haven't seen it myself but your fish might have finrot probably secondary to poor water quality causing bacteria/parasitic infection. Just wondering if the fins are shaggy looking or not because sometimes fish try to grow back their fins but it comes out black sometimes. Treatment consists of water changes and methylene blue.
Or it could be black spot disease? Caused by poor water condition which also requires more water changes to improve water quality.
