Fire!!!!!

I came home from work today only to find there was a fire in my filter that pumped smoke trough out my whole tank! i did a 75percent water change. only one fish was lost and my water is still cloudy. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice*SICK**SICK**SICK*

HOLY ****, MAN!!!! That sucks!!

Let it run a day, then do another 50% change tomorrow and check. Use Seachem Prime, it's great! Good luck!

I'd advise another water change and running some fresh carbon in your filter.

Also, check that you didn't have water dripping down the filter and that you have drip loops on all your equipment!
