would it be okay to put a breeding pair in a 20 gal high tank, and if i did whould a bristlenose pleco be harmed in there, please help anyone

I'd say yes if it were just the pair and the pleco, its ok IMO.

The BN might get hassled during breeding, but maybe you could remove him during that time.
