Firemouth Convict Hybrids!

So a lady came into my pet store and set a bad of 1 to 1.5 inch firmouth convict mixes. Anyway is it ok to keep them in a 40 gal. while young and i have a big log on one side and they seem to hang out around only that log, so the question is should i gt more logs like that. he tank is planted withsome 2 foot tall amazon swords and thats about it.

Con x Fm hybrids aren't all that uncommon.
Coincinentally, I saw a few adult con x Texas hybrids at an LFS last night. Really wish I had my cam on me. Those were hybrids wirth fussing over.
Seems like cons really will do it with just about anything.
