Firemouth question

hello all! i havent posted in a while. i have a question about firemouths. is there any thing i can do to be able to see its "firemouth" ? sometimes while it eats it slips out. its is really nice but somewhere i heard you can do something to see it better ?? thanks in advance-

i dont think this is what you are looking for, but mine used to flash their throats at each other over territorial disputes.

aside from that i don really know how to "make" them do it, but there could be a way i guess.

Sneak up to the tank and scare them. :D

Well if they feel threatened they will show it, but i really don't advise going out looking for it and stressing out your fish.

If other fish were in the tank it would show it a lot more. Maybe some more aggressive species, not to aggressive though.
