Firemouth tank

What would be a good tank size for a firemouth cichlid? I really like (O.K., love) these guys and have wanted to get one of them for a long time but my 20-gallon already has fish so I was going to get a ten-gallon and get one but I didn't know if this would be a good size, I don't want the fish to be unhappy.

i wouldn't put firemouth in anything less than a 20g, and even thats a little tight. maybe you could rework you current 20g and downsize that tank to the 10g, and then put a firemouth in the 20g?

Okay, I thought a ten-gallon would be good for a single fire-mouth since everythin I read said that they grew to be only 5-inches long. I thought that might work if I had really good filtration, heating and lots of places to hid. Oh well, I guess that'll be the first tank I set up when I get my own house.
