First Time Spawners!

So I woke up this morning, turn on the tank lights and BAM spawning action right away! They were spawning in the back of the tank for their first time ever, so I had to take the video from the reflection on the glass, thats why its so fuzzy But you can still make out whats going on.

I got a few more videos too that are clearer...Just gotta upload them to photobucket. Enjoy!

Excuse me for being Cichlid stupid But what exactly is that male?

They are both OB Peacocks

OB being "Orange Blotch". A hybrid fish basically, though can be found in the wild in certain species...very rare though. Originally came from a Peacock + OB Mbuna cross. You'll find OB Mbuna (pretty rare) in the wild but no OB Peacocks in the wild.

uhh by then, i SHOULD have my yellow lab fry out of the 10gal, and I'll be able to raise the OB's and then sell them eventually

Well, as it turns out, my female yellow lab is once again, holding. LOL these guys never stop!

Mabey you should change the thread to focus on the labs....lol!!!! I wish i could get my Mbuna to breed.....
