I have a 20 gallon AGA that I have picked out and am going to purchase soon. I have two dwarf frogs in a two gallon hexagon aquarium. I was hoping to move them into my 20 gallon once I get it. But I'm afraid that they won't eat in my bigger aqaurium because of the fish in there. I know they do well in community tanks, but they seem very content in their two gallon. But I don't want to have two aquariums to maintain (hence I have so many electronic things in my room, my room is a fire hazard as it is, so I wanna cut down on electrical things) what's anyone's opinion on moving my frogs into my 20 gallon? (I've had them almost 6 months and I don't wanna lose them  :( )  Thanks for all your help!

I suggest leaving them in your 2 Gallon UGF and letting them be. After you get everything else in, you can try them for a couple days and see how they do. If they aren't as happy, out them back, if they seem well adjusted, and not being picked on, let them be.

:DI have 4 frogs in a 10 gallon tank with 2 guppies and 2 cory catfish.  I have only had them for 3 1/2 weeks but they seem to be doing well. I feed them at night and they seem to be eating.  the fish don't seem to notice them too much (sometimes the catfish run into them though).  I don't have a lot of fish though.  Just make sure that you pick non aggressive fish and have enough of the some kind of fish if they are schooling fish.  When I first got the tank the lfs sold me barbs to go with them.  They were way too aggressive and picked on the frogs so I took them back.  I was told maybe if I would have had 6 instead of 3 they might have left the frogs alone, but I did not have enough room for 6.  If they get picked on or seem to be stressed them maybe you should leave them in their own tank.  Good luck!

I have a new tank (set up for about a week).  26 gallons, four zebra danios, four serape tetras, and two frogs.  The tank has a artificial plants.  The bottom has gravel.

The fish seem to be doing fine.  They are swimming around and eating flaked food and bloodworms.  The frogs however have been extremely shy.  They have been hiding in the plants and I cannot tell if they are eating.  A couple of times I could not find them in the tank at all.  They do not come out when I feed the fish.

I have not seen any of the fish bothering them.  Should I be worried?  When should I get worried?

They are hilarious to watch get chased around the tank...unfortunatly the rope fish is a little faster....

so I have to keep buying more frogs:)
