hey i just got two new fish and the one is kinda lazy so he just cruises around and mainly up top. i hve two powerheads and he keeps gettin sucked into the bottom of em and i hve to pull em out cause he cant get out himself. i just went and bought a spnge today and put it ovr both suckers and the powerhead is just rippin a hole in the sponge from suckin it in. how can i stop him from gettin sucked in and wat can i put ovr it instead of sponges?
- thanks a lot

try a piece of panty hose. Laziness is a quality of some fish but when it comes to being sucked into a powerhead intake you should probably make sure your fish is not sick. lazy fish will still swim away from being sucked up. how big is your tank and how strong are your powerheads?

power heads seem pretty strong.... maybe repositioning them someway would help, but it sounds like a lethargic/sick fish. Hopefully he gets better once he gets acclimated. More info like type of fish, size of tank, and power heads would be nice.
