so when i run a hook through a minnow and it goes all nuts they are not feeling pain? when i just touch a hook to the eye or gills of a bluegill and it freaks the hell out it does not feel pain? idk i find that hard to believe.

There are all sorts of things we don't fully understand, when fish don't feel well they become listless, humans and nearly all creatures also do this. I have a hard time agreeing they don't feel pain, perhaps it's a different sensation for them. Dog's don't see in color, but they can still see, it's a different perception from what we experience ...

Just my 2 cents

So if someone has a high tolerance for pain I should punch them in the face? I don't care if fish can feel pain or not, I wouldn't want to do anything to inflict it.
