fish dying

yesterday my male molly died and today i found my common pleco dead and my fish just stay on the bottom.
i found some whats looks like drywall(sheet rock) stuff op top of my tank and i think some of it got in the water when my dad was working around the tank
i did a quick water change and my fish seem to have came to life
do i have anything to worry about now?i don't want anymore dead fish

Keep changing the water on a daily basis, if drywall did get into the tank, that would certainly cause problems. Do hefty water changes for a week or so, and get a tight lid on the tank. Good Luck

i just added a lid
after the water change the fish seem to do A LOT better
