Looks to me like a LongEar sunfish

I think that's a green sunfish but I could be wrong...

Im not nowhere near even a novice with sunfish so i may be wrong also, i googled them and that matched best i could tell

I was tempted to say something like "the fish id is the part of the fish that isn't the ego or the super ego," but its really late, I read this title wrong, and I just had a test involving Freud last night, and I decided not to say anything until someone had said something helpful first.

I can't really offer anything than that I agree it's a sunfish.

...and since you're doing freud....that fish is definitely in need of cocaine therapy from his edipal complex. It was formed because he father left him at such a young age.

Where was it caught?
