Fish stores on the weekends..

I'm pretty sure there's not much that's more aggravating.

I made the mistake of popping into mine with my 7 and 9yr/old boys after church today. Between the crowd of clueless shoppers, the lack of staffing and my maniac boys, I need a Valium.

Dad! Can we get THIS! (Some sort of Cichlid the size of a football, in a 20gal tank).

Awe! How'bout this! (HUGE Pleco looking guy). Then the lobster sized crabs...

We had intended on picking up a few Mickey Mouse Platys, but the only ones he had were 3-5 very unhealthy looking adults and 4-5 babies the size of Tic-Tacs. At $3/ea.. Meh..

I'll stick with weekdays for my LFS shopping. Totally different experience.

I pretty much do the same thing. if i see fish i want they will put them on hold for me so i can come in on the weekend and get them and leave. i have to drive past work to get to my lfs and to go there in the morning then home then drive to work in the afternoon when it's a 20 mile drive one way it don't make sense to buy things on the week days. my lfs is also only staffed by 3 people so sometimes it's still a pain to get my fish on the weekends.
