I set up a 10 gallon about 6 months ago and i purchassed a small cheap filter that did not work very well. So i then purchased the aquaclear 50. So now my question is, is that filter too powerfull for my tank.

In my tank i have 2 otto and a Syndontis and i know they like to have a current in there tank but i dont know if the filter provides to much current. I have never seen the fish having a hard time swimming. Any help would be great

You should be alright with strong fish that like currents. However, I would not recommend putting something like a betta who does NOT like currents into your tank.
