fish that will not eat

I have two bala sharks that will not eat is there any way to get them interested in the food? They have been under medication but everything in the tank is doing fine now except the bala shark will not eat. Any info is appreciated.

is it a bala you just got or one youve had, fish can go a while without eating, he may just be constipated, if you get him to eat give him some peas, what medicine and for what and on him?

No I have had the bala sharks for 3 weeks and I just got a bad case of ich for an LFS store where the guy lied and said this placo didn't have ich which now I got and I can't get the balas to eat now it's probably been about 3 days.

move some stuff in the tank around maybe since they're really stressed they don't like the tank worked for my betta. Otherwise go down to the fishstore beat him down with a bat and plead self def or just deal with it.

How many balas do you have? And are they larger or smaller? Plus having them 3 weeks doesn't mean that they are completly settled in. Bala sharks are a schooling fish, and some will die if they get to stressed if kept alone or just with 1 other. It seems the smaller they are the better they adjust to a tanks environment provided there are 3 of them, but the smaller the more prone to diseases also.

That happened to my keyhole cichlids aswell, i moved them in my tank, after about 2 days they got ich, they hadn't settled in yet so it was mighty stressfull for them. My other fish got constipated aswell, if their crap is white then they're constipated. To get rid of that just add some aquarium tonic salt to the water.
