i would think it might be possible but unlikely. i would think that with the bacteria in the tank, if you had a open wound on your hand, it might get infected but i'm not a doctor nor do i have enough knowledge on this topic to say for sure, yes or no. i just know that i personally haven't had any problems but thats not to say that someone else couldn't.
type in zoonotic disease into google but I dont know of any that are contagious between fish and humans.
if you dont know this Zoonotic is the term used for disease that can be transferred between human and animals (and vice versa).

YES...aquarium water can make people sick.
Infants, kids uner 5, HIV people, transplant people and people undergoinf cancer treatment are at elevated risk.
Salmonela and Mycobacterium are two areas of concern.

There is a strain of tuberculosis that can be transfered from fish to humans. Just make sure you wash your hands after you mess with your tank and avoid getting any open wounds in the water. There is little concern if you follow those precautions.
As for your fish's health. You are more dangerous to them then they are to you. Dirty hands can transfer all kinds of yummy things to your tank. A precautionary rinse in tap water no soap is one of the best things you can do prior to tank maintenance.
