i dont want to say anything bad about them so..."my cats breath smells like cat food" :D...also in case you didnt know..."dying tickles"*laughingc

they must be doing something right, they have alot of members...but it wasnt for me, i only posted there a couple times

MFT is the only site i really post on a regular basis it's large enough to be interesting and "cozy" at the same time

Ive gotta give them credit, there profiles are extrememly well done and you can find a lot of different fish. They also have the great compatability feature. I have never used their message board and probably never will. But having never used it I cant say what its like. Id never switch from MFT though =)

this and cichlid-forums are all i use also, ive glanced into the messageboards at fishprofiles
and it just seems like 99% of the people in there have no clue about anything, questions on the easiest stuff with tons of people replying and no one knowing the answer, i do use their calculators sometimes though

I wasn't to keen on FP either, don't get me wrong it has it's good points. However, thanks to this site I have learned a lot and to this thread I have just found a new site and joined to cichlid-forum. THANKS ALL!

When I first started aquariums, 2 years ago and some months, I was at fishprofiles.... haven't been back since.

I like Myfishtank.net. Good people here, good fun, and lots of knowledge.

I also agree with Froggyfox, lol, stay here you traitors ;)

FP seems over moderated and some folks seem to rely on chems during cycling and breeder nets a lot. Sort of a different philosophy from what I've seen here.

I used to do fishprofiles.com, but that was under moderated...good folk, some wierdos, but many bailed out recently and went to FP.

I like this forum a lot...kind of in the middle.
