Flakes for Fry?

After my betta spawned, I've been feeding them on a staple of microworms for a while, but it seems that their growth is somewhat stunted. I'm thinking of switching to flake food as I do not really have the time and money to do BBS.

Since they're nearly 4 weeks old now, would it be okay to feed them powdered flakes?

Grind them up fine and give it a try. Keep an eye out for uneaten material and watch your water parameters. I've found that is the hardest part of having babies is not overfeeding, keeping up with the water changes, watching out for uneaten food bits. With fry, I've done BBS for about six weeks, if memory serves me right. Good luck.

i fed my multies fry powdered flake right from the start, and multies babies are like the tiniest little fry in the world so they will be fine.

What's the stuff you get when you put some grass in a bottle of tank water and set it in the sun? Starts with an 'I'. Would that be a good alternative?

WEll, it's infusoria, but I think my fry may have gotten past the microworms = infusoria stage at this point.

I'll probably try flake + microworms for a while and if that doesn't work, I'll do BBS
