Flaring?

Is it possible for a betta to flare too often, and therefore causing it to get sick or something like that?
Or will it stress them out too much?

Not really. My boys flare all the time at their neighbors.

no, it dose the opposite, it makes em stronger, and best to get your betta to flair a lot before breeding them

it doesnt make them stronger.... they just do it to intimidate other males... some bettas never flare... it probably can get stressfull, but if it does they will probably stop.. i know mine flare at their new neighbours for about a day, then theyre used to them and realize they cant get at them so they stop
