I came home today, and my black moor gold fish was stuck the the intake on the filter. I turned the filter off and it swam away freely but is currently just cloating as the current takes it, occasionally rolls and trys to swim on its own. Anyone have some advice?.. please.

id say it had a swim bladder problem already which caused it, it was weak or it most probabaly wouldnt of been sucked onto the filter...it theres no fungus or bacterial reasons id Say a swim bladder problem. Black moors do best with some salt in the water and it will aide in the healing. So add some aquarium but not marine salt. i would also turn down your air flow if possible. Somtimes constipation is the cause and sometimes its genetic...for constipation get frozen peas, let them thaw a bit and feed them the insides of one or two, if he doesnt improve slighty in a few days odds are he wont. I have never had good luck wiht swim bladder, if you feed freeze dreid which is a common cause make sure to soak the food before feeding.......but before even thinking that far ahead...try frozen peas...do not use canned. best wishes......Sincerely Elated
