I just found out that if you're thinking that you have to buy a whole new florescent hood for your aquarium for your plants then check this out. Keep your existing incandescent hood and buy screw in compact florescent lights. You can pick them up at Home Depot or any hardware store for about $5. I was going to buy the whole new hood till I read about this and I'm gonna save about $20. Just wanted to share with all of you
