I saw pictures of flowerhorns and they look... different... from most other fish- but in a good way. Sorta like an exotic sports car but in fish terms. I went to some sites including this one and still believe, even if it is man made, that it is really cool but they seemed pretty expensive online. Can anyone gimme a good average price for a nice looking flowerhorn? I dont think my lfs has these fish- only the glofish for man made fish :)

Hard to get a "true" flowerhorn. Jeff Rapps is pretty much the only one that can anymore. And thats why they are pricy.

I'd say...or seen them for about.....$200 for an Adult "true" flowerhorn?

I'm not an expert on hybrid fish and all so....if any other cichlid experts want to chip in and collect me, please do.

wouldn't touch a flowerhorn...., not unless it could glow in the dark if nitrites were present in the water....or if it could be trained to service internal filters.....or flash up the correct lottery numbers across its lateral line one day before each draw.......or flame happytreestump every time he posts a trolling question........or crap gold bars....or gargle the Welsh national anthem on demand......or any number of other normal fish behaviours.

There is no such thing as a "true" flowerhorn, as a flowerhorn itself is a hybrids.

You are probably thinking of pure Trimacs, low quality flowerhorns look alot like Trimacs, Jeff Rapps is one of the only trusty sources for pure trimacs though.
