Fluval 303/ How to get it going?

I purchased a Fluval 303 for about $20 w/o media. I am curious if anyone knows how to get it up and running. The instructions are very vague and I am looking for an easier explanation of how to do this.

private message me for any specific questions. directions suck. i have two fluval 304s and have had problems and solutions with them. i can talk you through any questoins probably.

Make sure it is fill of water before plugging it in

Plug it in.
I shake mine while it is trying to get all of the water from the impeller unit.

If that doesnt work i stick my python tubing on or a powerhead and pump water into the hose inlet while it is on. That always works
