Well we lost our first cichlid this morning.

I got up to feed them, and the bigger of our 2 peacocks was in between the glass and the intake of the filter. I guess he got stuck there....

sorry, he was a cool looking fish. I had a similar experience with my new gold nugget pleco who got wedged underneath the heater.. fish can be quite curiouse sometimes... and it may turn out bad ha

Sorry for the loss. I almost had a similar issue with a Copad. borleyi that got stuck between the glass and the DIY rock background in my 75 gallon. Luckily I walked in to look at the tank at the right time... Unfortunately these things happen. I once heard it said that you can't call your self an aquarium hobbyist until you've kill at least 100 fish... lol
