Fluval Chi - Great for Feng Shui Aquarium

Went to my LFS today and saw a new tank they just got in.

Called the Fluval Chi -it's a small nano tank that's pretty unique.

Some quick specs:

Holy crap.

Time to bust out some DIY and mod a better light to the thing and go hardcore planted.

just set up a display of these at my work, petco, .. just used old substrate from one of our tanks, used fake plants and added a few white cloud minnows... kinda cool but i perfer the Fluval Edges... they are larger and have better filters.... in the chi's it a pain in the ass to actually clean out the plumbing of the filter.. changing the cartridges is easy enough but the actual pump is hard to get to.

thanks for sharing. that's good to know. my lfs didn't have it setup so i'll stop by petco and see how it looks like.

Yeah we have a chi and edge set up at work. The chi is definitely quicker to do water changes in. I prefer the edge, though... It's sleeker and not so.. feminine?

my LFS says they've been selling pretty good for him. the Edge sold well initially but died down for him. Tempted to try one out and see.

The Chi is also $70 instead of around $120-ish.
