I was wondering if it's possible to feed freshwater herbivores a food i saw today called "formula two" marine pellets. It doesn't say anything about freshwater on the can, but it has the same ingredients that spirulina flakes for freshwater fish has; or just about. Also there is a "formula two" flake with similar ingredients that is safe for fresh or salt water fish. Any thoughts would be great.

Did you compare the prices?? I would think formula 2 is way more expensive than other flake foods...but I could be wrong. I wouldn't think there would be anything wrong with feeding freshwater fish, saltwater food...if its the same price and your fish like it I suppose. Check out the other threads about other foods that their fish like...I just posted on another one stevie started about tetramin pro tropical crisps that a lot of folks use as their main staple food.
