How long can bettas go without food? I'm going to be gone for 4 days, and so are most people I know because we're all going to college orientations and stuff. I can feed the morning I leave and the night I come back, so they're really only going for about 2.5 days without food. Is that okay? i COULD bring them to my work where my manager could babysit them for me but I dont really want to if it's not necessary.

Well to give you an idea I was sick and in the hospital for a week and my betta was fine. A little thiner, but fine.

That's fine! Sometimes it is actually good for them to have a "fasting" to clean out their digestive system

yah- i do the fasting thing for one day a week- it's also the day that i clean their vases out. thanks guys!
