Hey guys, well, "electra" ate today. i cut up a Earthworm and gave her 5 bite size piecies, she swallowed them hole LMAO. I was doing some Betta Imbellis research and I think electra is Not a betta splendid. reason i know is cause betta Imbellis females have an Egg spot. A tiny white dot on there abdomen right above there Anus. Also, she seems to be a Crowntail Betta Imbellis? Her fins have been growing extensions, il upload a pic in a few mins for you all to look at her. Il try to get a pic of the "Egg Spot"

Val is correct. In fact, most female fish have egg spots. What color is Electra? Also, there is no such thing as a "crowntail imbellis." The crowntail morph is strictly seen in the splendens species, not any of the "wild types."

Its hard to explain what color she is cause when she see's me she goes drained but when i fed her the other day them Worms, her normal color came back i belive, she was solid red with those normal blue marks on her tail. Either she is a wild caught imbellis or her parents were EXTREMLY pretty, leme go take a pic, i couldnt the other night because i didnt have the camera, pics will be up in 5

Its the flash, she was red and blue to the eye. Like i said, she changes colors like a camellion, she goes Red to Blue to Green to washed out brown. Im not sure why she does it either, however she did eat some freeze dried bloodworms today :D
