Freaky Frog Death

So, I have, or at least HAD, five dwarf frogs. I came home for lunch today and heard a grinding noise coming from the 10gal. I yanked off the power filter, pulled off the intake tube, and there chewed up and wrapped around the impeller shaft was one of the smaller frogs. I'm thinking it somehow crawled up the outside of the shaft and fell into the vortex ... nasty, indeed.

A frog in a blender. Arrrrggghh. Poor taste and my condolences are offered with a shameful smile. Don't power filters have an option of adding a thingey on to it so things don't get sucked up into it?

It crawled under the "thingy," I'm guessing. Weird as hell. Well, just one less mouth to feed.

My dwarf died by climbing up into and getting stuck in the return chute of my hex 5

My dwarf just died and got sucked up into the intake, it was all mangled and had its legs shoved through its body and up in the filter, it wasnt a pretty sight.
