Well I am going to be moving soon and am going to converting all my time/attention towards marine aquariums. I have a Black Ghost who is in great condition and loving life, however I wont be able to care for him anymore. I can give it back to my lfs but I figured I would just put it on here for anyone who was interested (and I would feel alot better knowing he went to a good home)

He is free to anyone who wants him and can describe the tank he will be going in (so I can make sure it is suitable)

All I ask is you pay for shipping (which will be overnight)

any interest just post back!

Oh I'm interested. I lost my guy when I did a promotion, I sold him for a buck. :( He was about 13-14 inches, and sadly he didn't make the over night shipping trip.

I have a 90 gal and a 125 that he will be housed in if that is large enough for ya?

I've missed having one since then and promise I will not sell yours.

edit: Bag budys are a bad idea when shipping these.

Well If Pure doesn't snatch this up, I would be interested. How big is the guy now? I am getting a 150gal for my pleco and oscar, I was thinking about adding an electric blue JD, some Blue Acuras, fire mouths, and possibly some blue botias, but I would be willing to move the stock plan around a little. These guys are really interesting fish, my husband oogles at them every time we're in the LFS. LOL I think a BGK would be a fun unique addition to my tank and I would really enjoy having him. :)

Sounds great, doubt Pure will miss out on this one, but on the odd chance he does, I'll be looking forward to your PM! :)

Glad to hear he's not tiny, I was worried about keeping him out of the Oscar's mouth, but he's bigger than my Oscar (4" or so as of now), so that works out.

Hummm, well I was under the impression that they would be good tankmates (Pure even made a suggestion for them when I was considering stock for this tank). This Oscar is pretty timid as far as I can tell, and he's still pretty small, so I think a BGK would be OK for a while, expecially if he's nearly twice the size of the Oscar and has alot of hiding space (which I plan on having anyway, to give the pleco and possible botias proper territories and comfort zones).
