I kept a pair in a 20 gallon for a couple of months, but where starting to get to big so I sold them. They are quite skitish, and arent really the show when they eat like oscars are. Hard to keep fish in with them, and they can easily eat a fish that is twice as big around as they are. Takes lots of feeders to keep these things going and healthy. I wouldnt put them in with any fin nippers either, due to they are so skitish and can quickly jump out of the tank, or hurt themselves trying.

Yep, I have a few in my 55g. They are doing a lot better then when I first got them. But the skiddishness does get very annoying. They maynot grow fast but they need a lot of room asthey dart back and forth a lot.

I had 3 cuddas for the longest time. Until I clean their tank just like normal, new water temp was the same and everything, every precaution was taken. And even so the smallest of the 3 went into shock and died. That was only a few days ago, I was soo upset! Well, I am just getting over that.

Anyway, there was a Barracuda thread awhile ago that me and Orion (and a few others) talked about them a lot, so here is the link http://www.myfishtank.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5289

Hope this helps!
