Im thinking about buying a freshwater crab for my tank. I already have 2 goldfish and I wondered if anyone had any info about crabs? Do they fight the fish or make problems? What about feeding, I heard hard pellets are what crabs like. Any ideas?
The only think I'll say about crabs, is that I am not aware of any true freshwater crabs... every crab I can think of, requires either land to crawl up on, brackish water, or both.
with a 12 gallon tank and 2 goldies, you would probably not want to add anything else. goldfish are poop machines, and...through personal experience, and research, i would not put more than 1 in a ten gallon tank.
