well you can take a 12 volt car neon tube and mount it in your hood ... only prob is you will need a 12 volt power source .... i got lots of them in my vehicle
We bought a moonglo flourescent tube for our pirahna tank.....the fish came out more with the original one so we replaced it. Moonglo's are nice tho, aren't they supposed to be good for viewing nocturnal fish........?
Not sure about the nocturnal viewing part... I was thinking on how so simulate natural moonlight cycles. They way I see it there are 8 different moon cycles. So I'm picturing a strip of incandescent bulbs having 8 different low watt settings, similar to a dimmer switch but done digitally. Along with a timer that tells each bulb when to turn on/off in a linear fashion..
Well, gang, I'm bumping up this thread, if you want to look for the LED moonlights, you can get them at hellolights.com. Just ordered two 3/4 to go with my 48" 4x65 watt aqualight. :::gettin' all giddy about setting up my 85 gallon:::
