I've been thinking about moving my oscars and my pleco to a 155 gallon tank and trying to put a freshwater stingray in my 110 or two but i havn't seen anything online about how hard they are to keep or how big they grow.

anyone have any ideas?

In the second to last section, "Miscellaneous fish". Knew I'd seen stuff about them somewhere.. there are a few types described on that site, a couple of smaller ones that are probably better suited to your size tank. I however have never kept them, only admired the gorgeous ones they have in a display tank at one of my LFS!

Good luck with the rays :)

i think either fish would be happier in the 155. How big a difference is there in length/width btw the 2 tanks? the footprint of the tank is going to be very important for the sting ray, since it will grow bigger in circumfrence, tank height is not very important, however it will need a very wide/long tank so it can maneuver

this is my 110 48 7/8 x 19 x 30 3/4

the 155 is aproximately 32 inches wide. ill get an exact measure ment soon. the box is at my aunts house lol.

after a little more study im not going to mess with any type of stingray until i get a bigger tank like a large hex or something.

ill just use my 155 for my oscars and put sdomething different in my 110
