Frogfish?

I was looking at this fish book, and I saw the UGLIEST fish I ever saw in my life. Their heads were like frogs, and their front fins looked like fins except the fish(?) was holding itself up on them, a bit like a frog. Then the frog ended and the fish began. The back of it was a bit like a koi, and those things were U-G-L-Y. Anyone know what they're called?

theres lots of fish that look like that , this is a toad fish

catch them all the time fishing around here, there are freshwater and saltwater kinds

i dunno but a wicked cool looking fish big but cool looking wounder what it would eat?

if you think thats bad you should see a saltwater frogfish

i believe that is a saltwater one, although i have seen freshwater ones that look very similar, although i have found very little info on them, their mouths can open large enough to swallow thing almost their body size, so youd want to be careful about who you keep as tankmates

no way is that the saltwater one.if i had a scanner i would show you the picture that i seen.that fish above is a supermodel compared to the on i seen
