fry eye problem

hi everyone , this morning i found 1 of my molly fry in the top of the filter box , after removing it , i notice 1 of its eyes , the eye itself was enlarged was dark black colour@ the outside looks red. the other eye is ok . i have no idea how long it was in the filter it would have been a 1week since i counted them all , the fry are now 6 weeks old. hope someone can give me information on what i can do to . thankss

Molly fry? I'm not trying to be insensitive, but if its a molly fry, hundreds more will be on the way, so I wouldn't worry about it. In the top of the filter box? As in within the filter? Just a guess, but maybe it was whacked by the filter blades and fluids got in the wrong place.

It sounds like it was the filter, but I would seperate it just in case. Mercury is right, you are going to have a ton in a couple of weeks!
