i dont think its possible.

when i cleaned mine i took the fry out and put them into a small container and soaked the net in bleach for a little while then rinsed very well and to make sure no cholrine was present i added a little bit of de-chlor. :)

Anybody know how to clean brown/green stringy algae off a fry net without removing it? I have fry in it right now so I can't take it out.
There really is no way to get it out without taking the net off. Just get a cup make sure it has no soap or anything like that. Grab some water from the tank with it. Put the fry in that cup, and take down the net. Using your regular tap water give it a good scrub. It should all come out being that the net is wet. No big deal it takes like 1 minute. Do it all the time when water changes. If you dont have a small net to get the fry run over to walmart and they have a small nice one for a $1. Dont do Petsmart because they are not cheap.
